Early Life and Education
Jonathan Young is a native Midwesterner who was born in Ohio and raised in the metro Detroit area.
After High School, Jonathan attended Michigan State University, earning his bachelor’s degree with honors in International Relations in 2008. During his time at Michigan State, Jonathan served as a Guardian Ad Litem for the Ingham County Probate Court, advocating for the rights of minors and disabled adults. In 2011, Jonathan graduated from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, IL.
Legal Career
During law school, Jonathan clerked for a prominent plaintiff’s personal injury firm, joining full-time as an associate after graduation. His practice was concentrated on nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, automobile negligence, and other catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Jonathan consistently obtains significant verdicts and settlements for his clients throughout the state of Illinois. Jonathan focuses his practice on representing and protecting the legal rights of those who have suffered serious and life-altering injuries.
When he is not practicing law, Jonathan enjoys traveling, soccer, and spending time with his family.
